Don Baker

Hi, my name is Don Baker, and I’m a Senior Loan Officer at Fountain Mortgage. I’ve lived in the Kansas City area for 10 years after being born and raised in Seattle and am a proud father of five children and husband to my wife, Anna. 

In my professional life I’ve always been part of a team, whether it’s leading a team or being a role player. Whether you’re buying your first home or your fifth, it takes a team to make that a seamless process. The Fountain Mortgage team operates all under one roof and isn’t some big conglomerate or branch of a giant bank. You get personalized service without delay, and we don’t send your loan file anywhere else to be processed or underwritten. I know obtaining a mortgage loan can be a stressful time, so my focus is on relieving any burdens of that process by always being available to answer your questions and provide thorough communication. When I’m not helping clients with their home loan needs, I’m on the go running kids to various sporting events or practices. While I used to play minor league baseball and collegiate baseball myself, nowadays I find my competitive outlet to be playing golf or hosting a neighborhood card game.
